Ifeoma Okafor
Secretary
As an activist, she founded the Albino Empowerment Foundation and has received multiple awards for her outstanding contributions. Committed to societal contribution through advocacy, she aims to dispel misconceptions and discrimination faced by persons living with albinism (PLWA), empowering them to live without limits. She is also an inaugural member of the St. Nicholas Hospital Diabetes Support Group and has made valuable contributions to the community programs conducted till date.
Ifeoma Okafor is a highly skilled and experienced Communications and Brand Marketing expert with a successful track record. As the Head of Communications & Brand Marketing at St. Nicholas Hospital since 2015, she has excelled in enhancing organizational visibility across five locations in Lagos State, thereby strengthening brand reputation. With over a decade of experience in Brand Marketing, Ifeoma’s journey began in 2014 at Cranes & Ladders Limited, a creative brand marketing agency, where she worked on below-the-line (BTL) campaigns for clients like P&G, managing multi-brands
Her achievements include coordinating successful PR campaigns, setting up outreach initiatives, and introducing innovative concepts, one of many is the “My Workplace Doctor” project for corporate organizations in year 2020 which helped combat the issues faced during the Covid19 pandemic, improving doctor-to-patient access.
In 2019 held the position of the General Secretary of the SNH cooperative society, and the MBA Students Association in 2019 and her strategic thinking led the societies towards sustainable growth. She coordinated and contributed immensely to the digitization of the cooperative affairs, making transactions easier whilst simplifying operations through the use of tech advances and holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Lagos.
Ifeoma prioritizes happiness as a driving force for personal growth and endeavours to spread a positive culture at all times. She is known for her creativity, her will to help the less-privileged, consistency, and commitment to driving impactful communication initiatives. Her hobbies include drawing, singing, working out and having meaningful conversations.
