Our Impact
We are working to eradicate social limitations of persons with albinism and their family members through advocacy and public awareness.
Like several marginalized groups in Nigeria, people with albinism are predominantly susceptible to discrimination leaving them isolated. There have been instances where mothers of children with albinism are also persecuted for just giving birth to a child with albinism. Studies show that women and girls with albinism are likely to experience more sexual violence due to persistent misconceptions. We therefore highlight these parts in our society that are broken, so we can help them in all possible ways to regain hope and flourish in life.
What we do
We are working on improving the lives of people living with albinism in Nigeria
We Educate
We educate the public on Albinism and its challenges. We are a voice for all persons living with Albinism, by addressing discrimination in all forms.
We Advocate
We call for more inclusiveness for people living with albinism and we aim to influence policy decisions at all levels in order to provide economic opportunity.
We Empower
Empowering Albino persons by strengthening capacity for self-sustainability. We search for opportunities to help as many albinos as possible.
We Provide Care
We seek medical assistance for albinos with visual impairment, skin issues and mental health challenges. We approach and fund those who are in need.
